Cindy made her annual trek to Sanibel for the largest and oldest shell show in the country.
Brought my Garmin GPS to navigate around the island. Retrieved my rental car and didn't ask anyone for directions or review a map. Just plopped the GPS on the dash and off I went. Sure takes some anxiety out of driving in a somewhat strange place.
It's so great to be out of the overcast, cold, wet New England weather.
looking for an easier way to post
We like to keep journals when we travel. Each night before dinner, we sit and write down what that day's activities were. It's a good practice and we've referred back to our journal many times particularly if we're planning a return trip.
Most of our travels are available on-line using our website, tomandcindy.com or on flickr.
We're going to try out blogger to see if it's easier to use on the road (and at home).
upcoming travel planned for this year:
- Sanibel, FL
- New York City, NY
- Ireland & Scotland
- Turks & Caicos
- Nova Scotia & Prince Edward Island
